UHN - Library poster design
“UHN's libraries at hospital sites provide current resources for physicians, staff, and trainees. Seven Medical Librarians give in-depth reference, research, training, support, and collection development to clients. Library staff at all locations assist with borrowing and document delivery.”
To raise awareness about its services, I created a new poster for the library, which provides access to online resources, health experts information, and UHN patient portal computers, as well as free UHN wifi. In the early stages, I suggested using illustrations or icons to appeal to a broader audience, including those with language barriers. After multiple revisions with the library staff, the poster's new design retains their existing scheme while attracting previously unreached audiences.
